ERL GLOBAL, INC.

Hello, my name is Ennis Lynch and this site is devoted to my Software Development Consulting practice. I have been developing business software since 1999 and have developed this site as an entry point for potential clients to learn more about some of my past projects and some of my offerings. Primarily, I focus on delivering on-site architecture and development using Agile methodologies in a C#, .NET environment. However, I have a growing number of PHP clients that I work with on a part-time as-needed basis remotely.

I would like to encourage everyone who visits to go to the Testimonials page to read what a few of my clients have said about my services. It is a good place to start to get a good indication of the quality I deliver. These comments are unedited and straight from individuals with whom I have directly worked.

One of the biggest risks to software projects has always been failure. Many software engineering textbooks indicate that 90% of all software projects fail. To help counter that disturbing trend I offer my Event Horizon Recovery service. An intense multi-week evaluation where I identify key components that provide an unnecessary exposure to risk; with this I also offer programming services to help eliminate technical debt, when possible.

For companies needing the security of a fixed budget I am now offering fixed-price software development products for projects that fall within a certain scope. These products do require an initial scope evaluation and complete work breakdown to properly identify the budget. While I primarily offer this service with the intent of developing the software some companies have used it as a metric to evaluate the progress of the team doing the development.

Other service based offerings I provide, in no particular order: Database Development, Reports Development (Crystal Reports and Others), Interview and Hiring Assistance, Feasibility Studies, Technical Evaluations and Code Reviews, and Webmaster Services.
